		<description>I still don&#039;t think that this subject is being stated correctly, on the news tonight it was mentioned but the statement should have been made that:
&quot;Parents still run the RISK of being prosecuted if they smack their child to discipline them for some wrong doing&quot;

RISK is the appropriate word, I fully support any parent who disciplines their child, note this does not mean abuse which still continues regardless of this ridiculous stupid law.

16 Parents were not prosecuted - BUT they still had to go through all that harassment for trying to raise THEIR children correctly - The government needs to get its big fat nose out of parenting and do more to support the authority of good parents as opposed to making them live in fear for every time that they have to smack their kids hand.

I don&#039;t have children, nor do i want them in a country where dumb laws put good people under stress. 

The government needs to get their proverbial together and keeps their noses out.

Lets raise some responsible New Zealanders.</description>
